And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
