Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
