Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
