Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
