The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
