Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the midday brightness 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
