The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Hast thou not seen how thy Lord did with the Men of the Elephant? 1 Did He not put their scheme into ruin? 2 by sending against them flocks of swallows 3 which smote them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
