Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
