"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
