The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this secure land, 3 We have certainly created man in the best of stature; 4 We then turned him towards all the lowest of the low states. 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What henceforth shall make thee belie the Requital? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
