The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
