Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Harun, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
