۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
