The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
