۞ No sooner the example of the son of Mary was mentioned than, lo and behold, your people raised a clamour 57 And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people. 58 He is only a servant We blessed, and We made him to be an example to the Children of Israel. 59 If We pleased We could have put angels in place of you as trustees on the earth. 60 And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way. 61 And let not Shaitan (Satan) hinder you (from the right religion, i.e. Islamic Monotheism), Verily, he (Satan) to you is a plain enemy. 62 And when Eisa came to them with clear signs, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to explain to you some of the matters regarding which you dispute; therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 63 Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him.
