Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? 37 Or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the Higher Realm)? Then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
