The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
