۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!" 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 “You surely have to taste the painful punishment.” 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 Facing one another on thrones. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” – 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 What, do we then not die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 Surely they found their fathers going astray, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
