Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
