Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He created; 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
