And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
