We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
