And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. 30 And ye cannot frustrate His punishment in the earth; and there is for you beside Allah neither protector nor helper. 31 And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains. 32 If He wills, He causes the wind to cease, then they would become motionless on the back (of the sea). Verily, in this are signs for everyone patient and grateful. 33 Or He may destroy them because of that which they have earned, and He may pardon many of them. 34 And (that) those who dispute about Our communications may know; there is no place of refuge for them. 35 Whatever you have received is only for usage in the life of this world, and that which is with Allah is much better and more lasting – for those who believe and rely upon their Lord. 36 And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive. 37 And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend. 38 who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress. 39 The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong. 40 And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them. 41 Reproach is only against those who oppress people, and wrongfully spread rebellion in the land; for them is a painful punishment. 42 Surely, he who bears patiently and forgives indeed that is true constancy. 43
