Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
