Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
