And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 As to what they did. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
