Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
