THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
