1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
And said the leaders of his people, who disbelieved and denied the confronting of the Hereafter and We had given them comfort in the worldly life that, “He is nothing but a human like you, he eats from what you eat and drinks from what you drink.” 33 And if you obey a mortal like yourselves, then most surely you will be losers: 34 Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]? 35 ۞ “How remote, (really) how remote is the promise you are given!” 36 Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected. 37 He is only a man who hath invented a lie about Allah. We are not going to put faith in him. 38 He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me." 39 God said, "Before long they will be filled with regret." 40 So the punishment overtook them in justice, and We made them as rubbish; so away with the unjust people. 41 Then, after them, We created other generations. 42 No nation can outstrip its term, nor can it put it back. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Yet whenever its Messenger came to a nation they belied him, so We made them follow others, and We made them but as tales, so begone the nation who did not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority 45 To Pharaoh and his nobles who behaved with arrogance, for they were a conceited lot, 46 They said: "Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves when their people are slaves to us?" 47 So they denied them, and became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might be guided. 49 And We made Mary's son, and his mother, a Sign, and We gave them refuge on a lofty ground, a peaceful site with springs flowing in it. 50

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
