۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
