We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
