The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
