Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans disbelieved (in Islam) only after receiving divine testimony: 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 And those who are vouchsafed the Book divided not save after there had come unto them the evidence. 4 They were only commanded to worship God, be uprightly devoted to His religion, steadfast in prayer and pay the zakat. This is truly the eternal religion. 5 Indeed all disbelievers, the People of the Book(s) and the polytheists, are in the fire of hell – they will remain in it for ever; it is they who are the worst among the creation. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein for ever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord. 8
