Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, "It is great news 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
