Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
