We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
