And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 And take in thine hand a handful of twigs, and strike therewith, and break not thine oath. Verily We! We found him patient. How excellent a bondman! Verily he was oft-returning. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
