And (remember) the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last). 19 Till, when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins testify against them as to what they used to do. 20 And they will say unto their skins: wherefore bear ye witness against us? They will say: Allah hath caused us to speak, Who causeth everything to speak, and Who created you the first time and unto whom ye are now caused to return. 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 It is this notion you had of your Lord that caused your ruin, and you are lost." 23 And though they are resigned, yet the Fire is still their home; and if they ask for favour, yet they are not of those unto whom favour can be shown. 24 ۞ And We appointed companions for them, who made what is before them and what is after them seem good to them, and the Word proved true upon them along with the groups of jinns and men who passed away before them; they were indeed losers. 25
