Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HA MIM. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 2 Indeed in the heavens and the earth are signs for believers. 3 And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. 4 And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 These messages of God do We convey unto thee, setting forth the truth. In what other tiding, if not in God's messages, will they, then, believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 8 When he learns about some of Our revelations, he mocks them. Such people will suffer a humiliating torment. 9 In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
