He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 to him didst thou give thy whole attention, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And whereas he fears, 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 Exalted, purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble and dutiful. 16 Accursed is man. How ungrateful is he! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Of a drop of seed. He created him and formed him according to a measure. 19 then eased his path for him, 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 And olives and palms 29 and dense orchards, 30 and fruits and fodder 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
