The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
