And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
