The Unbelievers say: "Listen not to this Qur'an, but talk at random in the midst of its (reading), that ye may gain the upper hand!" 26 We will let the unbelievers taste a terrible punishment, and recompense them with the worst of what they were doing. 27 This is the recompense of Allah’s enemies – the fire; they have to stay in it forever; the penalty for denying Our signs. 28 Those who deny the truth will say, "Our Lord, show us those jinn and men who misled us and we shall trample them underfoot, so that they may be among the lowest of the low." 29 Lo! those who say: Our Lord is Allah, and afterward are upright, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the paradise which ye are promised. 30 We are your protecting friends in the life of the world and in the Hereafter. There ye will have (all) that your souls desire, and there ye will have (all) for which ye pray. 31 "A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!" 32
