We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
