Hizb 44
< random >
Say: 'Call on those you have asserted apart from God; they possess not so much as the weight of an ant in the heavens nor in the earth; they have no partnership in either of them, nor has He in them any supporter.' 22 No intercession avails with Him, except on the part of one to whom He grants permission. When their hearts are relieved of fear, they will enquire from those to whom permission is granted, "What has your Lord said?" They will answer, "The truth. He is the Most High, the Supreme One." 23 ۞ Proclaim, “Who provides you sustenance from the sky and the earth?” Proclaim, “Allah and indeed either we or you are upon guidance, or in open error.” 24 Tell them: “You will not be called to account about the guilt we committed, nor will we be called to account for what you did.” 25 Say: "Our Sustainer will bring us all together [on Judgment Day,] and then He will lay open the truth between us, in justice - for He alone is the One who opens all truth, the All-Knowing!" 26 Say, "Show me those whom you have related to God as His partner. He is too Exalted to have any partners. He is the Majestic and All-wise God." 27 We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. 28 And they say: when is this promise to be fulfilled if ye say sooth? 29 Say: “Your day is appointed, you can neither hold back its coming by an hour, nor hasten it by an hour.” 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
