The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
