Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
