Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
