You who believe, seek help through patience and prayer; surely, God is with the steadfast. 153 And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, "they are dead." In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life. 154 We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 It is they who will receive blessings and mercy from God and who follow the right guidance. 157 ۞ Safah and Marwah are the waymarks of Allah. Whoever performs the pilgrimage to the House or the visit, there shall be no guilt on him to circumambulate between both of them. And whoever volunteers good, Allah is Thankful, the Knower. 158 Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers. 159 I, however, will forgive those of them who repent of it, mend their ways and make own what they were concealing: for I am very generous in accepting repentance and showing mercy. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. 162 Your God is One God. There is no god except He. He is the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 163
