T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
